BiographyHistory

Meddows is a third-generation Australian, and producer of a weekly poetry program on Sydney FM Radio. She has been well-known for her children's poems, often suitable for concert performance.

In 1987, she was working as a research assistant in the Inventors' Association, and, so a newspaper report noted, had twenty patents pending on her own inventions ('"Older" Australians Hit the Airwaves', Canberra Times, 2 August 1987, p.4).
