BiographyHistory

Henrietta Taylor studied French at the University of Sydney in the 1970s. She married fellow high school teacher Norman Taylor and they had two children. Norman Taylor died from cancer eight years into their marriage and, after a period of serious depression and financial instability, Taylor decided to leave Mosman, Sydney and move to France. In the village of Saignon in Provence Taylor re-established her life and later went into business renting properties to tourists.
