BiographyHistory

Colin Porter was the Departmental Head of the Western Australian state environmental and conservation body during the 1970s until his retirement in 1986. Prior to that, he lived in Melbourne and Sydney. Porter was granted a General Science Degree from the University of London, joined the airforce in 1951 and subsequently left in the late 1950s to work in the area of environmental science and management.
