BiographyHistory

Coral Pombo-Campbell was born in Bellingen in 1948 and is from the Gumbaingirr Tribe (mid-north-coast of New South Wales). She was one of the 'Parramatta Girls' and was featured on ABC's Stateline talking of her experiences at the Home.

Pombo-Campbell married a Spanish man and has split her time living between Australia and Spain since 1974. In 1998 Pombo-Campbell enrolled in a TAFE hospitality course. She cooks both contemporary and bush tucker food and has catered for Wollongong City Council, the South Coasts Books Clubs, the Catholic schools, and the Newcastle and Maitland dioceses.
