BiographyHistory

Crichton Cashimir McIntyre was born in Jamaica, West Indies of mixed parentage and went to school and military college in the UK. He later took up permanent residence in Australia, his adopted home. During his senior year of high school he showed the first signs of his emerging poetic talents when he won the senior school prize for poetry (Back cover, Red Wine, Rhythm & Friends).

McIntyre has also been a dance teacher of Le Roc, (a funky form of jive with a history dating back to France in World War II).
