BiographyHistory

In 1935, Lorna G. Newman was the editor of The Black Swan : The Magazine of the Guild of Undergraduates of The University of Western Australia. Lorna Newman, as Lorna Curtin, sat on the governing council of the Elizabethan Theatre Trust. She also wrote book reviews for The Sydney Morning Herald. Newman was married to P. E. Curtin, an economic adviser, who had been the Chairman of The Black Swan editorial board when she had been the editor.
