Australian-born Karin Moorhouse and her husband Wei Cheng have spent time in Angola as volunteers with Médecins Sans Frontières. Moorhouse has also been the marketing vice president for Nestlé Canada Inc. and, following her return from Angola, has trained as a florist.
Moorhouse is the niece of Frank Moorhouse.
