BiographyHistory

Sandy Guy's passion for travel writing has taken her around the globe - from canoeing piranha-infested waters in Brazil to taking tea with the Duchess of York in England, hiking isolated areas of Papua New Guinea, clambering across Ireland's ancient castles, and visiting tea estates in the Indian Himalayas - but she loves nothing more than exploring the vast, diverse landscapes of her own backyard. A journalist for over twenty-five years, Guy who has a BA in Professional Writing, has lived in a century-old house in the historic gold-mining city of Ballarat.
