BiographyHistory

Simon Dodd is a professional comedy writer, working in television, radio, and occasionally print and film. From 1986 to 1993 he wrote sketches for Doug Mulray's ratings winning 2MMM breakfast show.

He worked with Andrew Denton on many of his early television successes, including Blah Blah Blah, Denton, and The Money or the Gun.

Simon was part of the Good News Week writing team that won four back-to-back Australian Writers' Guild Awards (AWGIEs) in the years 1998-2001, and wrote for the ABC-TV series The Glass House from 2001-2006 and The Sideshow in 2007. (Source: Australian Script Centre website).
