BiographyHistory

After training as a commercial artist and then, for some time, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Zaloudek left Czechoslovakia during the Prague Spring of 1968. He ended up working in animation in Sydney, painting the backgrounds for animated works including Top Cat, Footrot Flats, and Ren and Stimpy. He later returned to fine art, producing works that have a particular interest in nature and texture.
