BiographyHistory

Harry Gordon is a former editor of the Melbourne Sun newspaper and was editor-in-chief of the Herald and Weekly Times (Melbourne). He has written a number of non-fiction books including five on the Olympic Games and he has won several awards for sports writing. In 2006 Gordon, the official historian of the Australian Olympic Committe, was awarded the International Society of Olympic Historians Lifetime Award.
