BiographyHistory

Victorian-based Janine McGinness-Whyte was shortlisted in the 2008 page seventeen poetry competition for her poem 'Garage Sale'. Her poem 'The Truth and Other Small Fictions' was shortlisted in the 2009 page seventeen poetry competition.

Janine has organised events with Geelong Writers Inc., including 'Words at the Gallery'. She has teamed with Brendan Ryan (q.v.) to produce events at the pub in Portarlington. In 2007 these readings moved to the Bush Inn, Geelong. Janine enjoys writing poetry, short stories and songs, and does some editing/publishing (usually for community publications) under the moniker of Kinross Productions.
