'Ilana M. Kresner is an author and illustrator of children's picture books, an artist, educator, marketer and sales manager.' Kresner has developed 'experiential excursion programmes in the museum and tourism industries' for schoolchildren including her 'Matilda Cruises' courses.
Kresner graduated from the University of Sydney with an arts degree and also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New South Wales. She has worked in educational roles in museums in Australia and the USA including periods with the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Australian Museum in Sydney.
