Founded in Kila, Montana, by Roger Kessinger, Kessinger Publishing L.L.C. is a specialist publisher of rare, scarce, and out-of-print books. The company is dedicated toward digitally preserving important literature for future generations and undertakes world-wide searches for hard-to-find books. These are subsequently published in affordable editions. In the early 2000s the company moved from Kila to Whitefish, located at the southern end of Montana's Flathead Lake.
