Jennifer Fulton owned and operated the largest women's bookstore in New Zealand before moving to Melbourne in February 1994, living there until January 2000, in South Yarra. Through this period she was an active member of 'Sisters In Crime', Melbourne and also received script development funding from Film Victoria for her screenplay 'Love's Lane'. Apart from screenplays, she writes lesbian fiction, mystery and historical fiction. After leaving Australia Fulton became a permanent resident in the USA, living in the Midwest, but she visits Australia regularly where her daughter lives in Melbourne. Her novel Sleep of Reason, (as Rose Beecham) was inspired by a famous Australian murder case.
Only those books that have an Australian connection are included in AustLit.
