BiographyHistory

Mary Murray lived on a copra cocoa plantation in New Guinea, then returned to live in Northern Queensland. She has also written non-fiction, including Escape: A Thousand Miles to Freedom (Adelaide : Rigby, 1965) and Hunted : A Coastwatcher's Story (Adelaide: Rigby, 1967) about events of the Second World War in New Guinea.
