BiographyHistory

Martin was a grazier and photographer in the Albury Wodonga area. He contributed to a wide range of newspapers and journals including the 'Hoofs and Horns' column for the Border Mail. Martin was patron of the Albury Fellowship of Australian Writers. He wrote books on aviation history, military history, racing and the twin cities including Australia Astride (1959), A Tale of Twin Cities (1981), A Century of Racing: Albury Racing Club 1881-1981(1981) and Backing Up the Boys: the Australian Women's Army Service and Albury Army Area (1988).
