BiographyHistory

Marie Alafaci has worked as an editor and a teacher (both English and science), as well as working in various branches of corporate work. In 1995, she left corporate work to work as a writer, beginning with a Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing) from Holmesglen TAFE (where she has also taught non-fiction writing).

In June 2011, Marie Alafaci was appointed to the new role of Development Officer – Victoria for the Australian Society of Authors (ASA).
