BiographyHistory

Richard Barwick was a support member of the 1956-58 TransAntarctic Expedition and the 1958-59 VUWAE II. In 1960 he joined the Department of Zoology at the Australian National University (ANU). After retirement in 1994 he became a Visiting Fellow. In 2009 he was guide-scientist for a cruise ship to Antarctica. Richard Barwick married Diane Barwick.
