Toby Fitch was born in London and raised in Sydney. He has been a doctoral candidate at Sydney University, an editor for Southerly, poetry editor of Overland, and program director for the Australian Poets' Festival and the Sappho Books Poetry Reading Series, has worked as a bookseller at Gleebooks, and has taught creative writing at the University of Sydney.
His published work has won the Grace Leven Poetry Prize (2012) and been shortlisted for the Peter Porter Poetry Prize.
In 2020, she was shortlisted for the Sydney Book Review's Copyright Agency-funded Emerging Critics Fellowships.
