BiographyHistory

Bill (William) Grono was educated at a number of Perth schools, including Scotch College. He studied at the Teachers' Training College, Claremont (where he edited the annual magazine, Chiron), the University of Western Australia and Syracuse University (NY State). Grono was an editor, a teacher and a lecturer. He had a strong interest in Western Australian literature, especially poetry.
