Active as both writer and publisher, Margaret Gee has written cookbooks and a children's book as well as books on family history and environmental protection. She has compiled a short story anthology, directories on a range of different subjects and books of quotations from the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and Pope John Paul II.
Described as an 'independent and innovative publisher', Margaret Gee Publishing (q.v.) has produced works for prominent Australian authors such as Donald Horne and Bryce Courtenay. Gee is probably best known for having launched in Australia the American 'blockbuster' author Nathan Pritikin and his 'heart-healthy' Program for Diet and Exercise.
