BiographyHistory

Father of Catherine Bateson. Ron Campbell joined the Australian Journal as a budding crime writer in the early 1920s and subsequently took on responsibility of producing a story each month under the pseudonym Rex Grayson. He was appointed editor in 1926 and continued in that role until 1954 when the magazine was sold by its long-time owners Massina & Company.
