BiographyHistory

A resident of suburban Sydney, Lynda Hawryluk worked as a school teacher in English, Aboriginal Studies, History and Drama. In 2003 she was awarded a PhD in Writing from the University of Western Sydney. (She also holds a B.A. and an M.A., also from UWS.)

she later became Lecturer in Literary and Cultural Studies at Central Queensland University; in 2018, she was senior lecturer at Southern Cross University.

Her poetry and essays have been published in a range of magazines and journals.
