BiographyHistory

In 1977 Glynn Nicholas began a busking career as a street performer in Munich. He travelled widely and won national and international awards as a street performer. Among these was the Australian national championships, 1986.

As well as his stage shows, he has appeared in the children's television programme Here's Humphrey, hosted The Big Gig on ABC TV 1989-1991, and had his own show, the Glynn Nicholas Show on ABC TV in 1996. His Glynn Nicholas Group has been involved with theatre, corporate entertainment, and workplace training programs.

In 1990, he produced The Dinosaur Album [sound recording] by Glynn Nicholas and The Funky Fossils.

He continues to work in theatre, creating cabaret, drama, comedy, musicals, and shows specifically for cruise liners. His show Certified Male was due to open in New York in spring 2019.
