Chinese poet Yu Jian published his first book Shi liushi shou (60 Poems) in 1989 and a selected work in 2004. He wrote an on-going series of 'note poems' inspired by the American poet William Carlos Williams. Yu Jian is translated by Australian poets Simon Patton and Ouyang Yu (qq.v.).
