BiographyHistory

Katie Anne Noonan is an Australian singer-songwriter whose career has encompassed a wide range of musical styles, including opera, jazz, pop, rock and dance. In addition to her solo work Noonan has been a member of the groups george, Elixir and The Captains. She also performs with her mother Maggie Noonan.

In 2016 Noonan recorded and toured With Love and Fury with the UK's Brodsky Quartet. The project comprises musical settings to ten poems by Judith Wright. One of the poems, 'The Surfer,' was set to music by Noonan. In 2019, she collaborated with the Australian Strong Quartet in arrangements for 10 poems by Oodgeroo Noonuccal, released as The Glad Tomorrow.
