BiographyHistory

Children of the third wife of a 65-year old man, Madu Pasipanodya and her brother were placed in an orphanage when the author was four years old. When she was nine an Australian family adopted the two of them and they came to live in Australia. Madu has been back to Fiji to see her birth parents and is conscious of her dual nationality.
