BiographyHistory

Teruko Blair was in Hiroshima at the time of the time of the atomic bomb, but miraculously she and her family survived. Her sister Junko Morimoto later wrote of the experience in her book My Hiroshima. After the war Teruko married an Australian who was in Japan as part of the British Commonwealth Occupational Forces, and moved to Australia, learning to come to terms with a different culture.
