BiographyHistory

Rachel Buchanan arrived in Australia from London in 1993 and worked at The Age as a sub editor and journalist. She started an Arts Degree at Monash University in 1994, graduating in 2001 with first-class honors in history and the J. D. Legge prize. In 2001 Buchanan took up a research scholarship for a project on Maori and Pakeha narratives in New Zealand history at Monash University
