BiographyHistory

As was the custom of his mother's people, Warrigal Anderson was named after a dingo that witnessed his birth in the Wimmera district of Victoria. When he was ten years old he absconded from his Moonee Ponds home to avoid being captured by government officials and never saw his mother again. He has travelled widely in Australia and New Zealand and worked as a drover, meatworker, fisherman and crane operator. He moved to Katherine in the Northern Territory in 1982.
