BiographyHistory

A South Australian writer, and a member of the Blackwood Writers' Group, Raine was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome (a mild form of autism) soon after entering Australia as a child. He has been addicted to science fiction from an early age and joined the Blackwood Writers' Group in 1996. As well as his short fiction, some of which has been published online, he has written a series of non-fiction articles for the Astronomical Society of South Australia.

Raine graduated with a Diploma of Arts (Liberal Studies) and a Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) Honours from the University of South Australia. He had a six-month scholarship in Okayama, Japan in 2000-2001.
