Paul Connolly is a Melbourne writer whose feature stories and humour pieces
have been published in Australia's leading newspapers and magazines. He lives in
Brunswick with his family and pets [2011].
He has written three non-fiction books about sports: a biography of John Maclean called Sucking the Marrow Out of Life (2005), The World's Weirdest Sports (2007), and the memoir about a suburban female soccer team, The Mighty Bras (2010).
