BiographyHistory

Clifford Hocking was an impressario and Festival Director. He directed the Adelaide Arts Festival in 1990 and was the artistic director of the Melbourne Interational Arts Festival in 1997. In the 1960s he introduced the talents of the young Barry Humphries (q.v.) to the Australian public.
