BiographyHistory

The youngest of eight children, Norman Hutchinson was educated at Inglewood Primary, Perth Boys' High and Leederville Technical College. He has a Teacher's Certificate from Claremont Teacher's College and a B. Ed. and Dip. Ed. Admin. from Curtin University. His career has included writing and illustrating a number of school textbooks on technical drawing, electronics and vocational education, and he has held a number of administrative positions within the Education Department.

He retired in 1992 and moved to Melbourne. Since then he has been actively engaged in writing, editing and publishing.
