BiographyHistory

A Canadian publishing house based in Calgary, Alberta, Edge Science Fiction and Fantasy was established in 2000. Since its first release, The Black Chalice by Marie Jakober, Edge has won three major awards and garnered critical praise for a number of its publications. Its primary market is in trade paperback and hardcover novel-length works of between 75 and 100,000 words. Although dedicated to promoting and publishing in the science fiction and fantasy genres, the press has also published books on theatre, magic and the performing arts.

An imprint of Hades Publications Inc, Canada's largest publisher of science fiction and fantasy, Edge has published a number of novels by Australian author K. A. Bedford (q.v.).
