Sharon (Watson) Micenko was brought up in a Northumberland pit village as part of a family of eight children. A science teacher by profession, she has lived in England, Australia and New Zealand. Writing as Sharon Watson, she has published short stories in Australia and England in magazines such as Woman's Day.
