BiographyHistory

Hetti Perkins is an arts curator and historian. She has served as Curator of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney and has been actively involved in the Indigenous Arts community including serving as co-chair of the Indigenous Arts Reference Group, on the board of Bangarra Dance Theatre, and as member of the Visual Arts and Crafts Committee of the New South Wales Ministry for the Arts.

In September 2011, after thirteen years in the position, Perkins resigned as Curator of Aboriginal Art at the New South Wales Art Gallery.
