Bruce Page was educated in Australia before becoming a journalist. He began his journalism career working for the Melbourne Herald, followed by stints with the Evening Standard and the Daily Herald. He is the author of several books arising from his journalism, including titles on the Philby case and on American politics, AnAmerican Melodrama : The Presidential Campaign Of 1968 (1969).
