BiographyHistory

Shen Jiawei grew up in Jiaxing, China during the Cultural Revolution. He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing 1982-1984, and his work attracted considerable attention. He moved to Australia in 1989. He is well-known for his portraiture and has been commissioned for portraits both in Australia and overseas.
