BiographyHistory

An outstanding sportsman who represented Australia in seven sports, Baker concentrated his attention on boxing, winning a silver medal at the 1908 London Olympics. In addition to further involvement in boxing as a referee and a promoter, Baker went on to develop a film career as a stuntman, actor and filmmaker. His best-known film is The Man from Kangaroo.
