Michael Crouch was educated at Cambridge and Oxford Universities. Before becoming a professional writer, Crouch worked for the British Overseas Services in Yemen and in the industry and commerce areas in Western Australia. He has also been a school teacher and an educational management consultant.
He lives in West Perth. He is the authorised biographer of T.A.G. Hungerford.
