BiographyHistory

Charlotte Harper is the founder of Editia, a new digital first publisher. Harper has worked as a technology journalist, reviewer and editor, including time spent as the literary editor for the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. She is a teacher of journalism at the University of Canberra and of digital communications at the Canberra Institute of Technology.

At the Canberra Times, she was variously chief sub-editor, features, online editor, and editor of firstly the Saturday news features section and then the Sunday magazine. Charlotte holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Editing and Publishing from Macquarie University and was an editor on Loose Lips: UTS Writers' Anthology. Her book, Weird Wild Web, was published by Penguin Australia in 1999. Charlotte is the resident blogger at Booku.com.
