Dawn Swain was editor of the Australian Women's Weekly (1976-1985). She began work on the magazine on 11 December 1950 and retired from ACP Publishing on the same day in 2000. During her working life she worked on and edited many magazines including Woman's Day, where she was appointed Editor-in-Chief in 1988, as well as the Weekly.
