BiographyHistory

Bundjalung man and Australian first-class cricketer who represented New South Wales in six matches between 1900–01 and 1902–03. He also competed as a sprinter and hurdler.

Jack Marsh was overlooked for national selection, ostensibly on the grounds that his technique at bowling was controversial (often called 'throwing'). He was killed in a brawl by a bookmaker and bookmaker's clerk, both of whom were charged with manslaughter but acquitted.
