BiographyHistory

Ron Vickress is a poet, author and playwright. During World War II he served in the Australian navy as a signalman on the corvette H. M. A. S. Pirie. He subsequently taught for many years in N. S. W. secondary schools before taking up positions lecturing in English and Drama at the Wagga Teachers' College and then the Armidale College of Advanced Education.
