BiographyHistory

Doubleday acquired Triangle Books in 1939 from Reynal & Hitchcock. After Blakiston was purchased by Doubleday, Doran in 1944, a number of popular novels were published by that subsidiary under the Triangle imprint. Triangle books were largely budget fiction, including many reprints, and were sold extensively in the US through chain-stores. They included some titles by Australian authors, including Maysie Greig and G. B. Lancaster.
