BiographyHistory

Probably Sam Jessop (?-1953), station-hand, horse-breaker, bank officer, ranger, stock inspector and journalist. Sam Jessop began writing for the Bulletin in 1901. He was also head stockman on Lake Nash, one of Queensland's largest cattle stations. Sam Jessop ended his career in broadcasting.
