BiographyHistory

Mykolaitis-Putinas was a poet, novelist and playwright, well-known in Lithuania. He was professor of literature at Kaunas and Vilnius Universities. A memorial museum has been created at his former home in the Lithuanian city of Vilnius. Of his numerous works, none written in English, only one is related to Australia.
