In 2020, Konrad Marshall was one of two runners-up in the UNSW Bragg Prize for Science Writing, for 'Jeepers Creepers', published in the Age, on the Buruli ulcer (Mycobacterium ulcerans) outbreak on the Mornington Peninsula.
